READER QUESTION AT CTCR Online

"Dear Courtney, I am a subscriber to CTCR and Major Moves and I only trade the S&P and don't follow the grains or soybeans. Local traders have been telling me that the newsletter of James Flanagan, Past Present Futures, is good. In his recent newsletter he states a rare multiyear opportunity is coming up this summer in wheat and corn especially. I can't find the newsletter in CTCR. What is your opinion of this newsletter and will you be following the grains in Major Moves?"

- Thank You, D

EDITOR-IN-CHIEF COURTNEY SMITH'S ANSWER AT CTCR Online

Editor-in-Chief Courtney Smith: Thanks for the enquiry! I've gotten a million solicitations to subscribe but never actually seen an issue. I'll try to get a sample and comment. How do you like it?
I religiously trade the grains! We haven't had a trade in Major Moves in a while but that is mainly because I missed the big bear move and am waiting for a turnaround. Bill Gary of CIS Price Perceptions is still bearish on the grains because the supply is so huge. He believes that even normal weather will give us burdensome supplies. That means that it will be hard to make money on the long side and, unfortunately, the short side doesn't seem to have much potential. I manage hedge funds for a living and am short some wheat right now but don't look to make very much on the position.
