Supercharts (June 18, 1999)

"1st of all , excellent web site. Very helpful to the novice (me). I am reading Schwager's Tech Analysis book , and want to do some testing. Read the review of Supercharts and it seems to be what I need. Could you answer the below:

1. Would I be able to program Supercharts be able to figure out true highs, true lows, run days, etc,given some period of data? (I do programming for a living, just wondering about the robustness of Supercharts).
2. Also, do you recommend any data service? (I know Supercharts accepts many brands of data.)
3. Would the above service be able to supply continuous futures data?

Editor-in-Chief Courtney Smith: Thanks for the kind comments and questions. Frankly, I haven't looked at SuperCharts in a long time. What I remember is that you can do those calculations but that you couldn't string those indicators together. We haven't recommended any data sources yet because it is difficult to test which is the best. Perhaps we should run a survey on our website.

"I am a prospective options trader. I' ve lost with Ken Roberts in 1992 and 1993. I've just came across Rabb Sabin's " The Cash Nursery " . Is this a serious and legitimate course, or is it bogus only? Please advise. I want to avoid another setback and losses." P.S.
